Nineveh Governorate recalled the Hamdaniya incident and tragedy that occurred in a wedding hall last year, killing more than 120 martyrs.
Nineveh Governorate directed a minute of silence on Thursday in remembrance of the wedding hall tragedy in Al-Hamdaniya district.
Despite the formation of governmental and parliamentary committees to investigate the Al-Hamdaniya tragedy, the investigations have not yet resulted in holding accountable any of those responsible for the incident.
