A local source reported yesterday , Wednesday, that two people were killed in a traffic accident in the center of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region .
The source confirmed “The accident occurred this afternoon when two cars collided on the main road 120 in Erbil,” he said, noting that “the accident resulted in the death of two people and the injury of a third, and the bodies were transferred to the forensic medicine department .”
In Nineveh, a local police source reported that the police arrested a student who killed a colleague and injured another in a fight in an evening middle school in the right side of Mosul .
The source told Shafaq News Agency, “A quarrel took place in an evening middle school in Al-Mansour neighborhood in right Mosul, which resulted in the death of a student and the injury of another by stabbing with a knife .”
The source added that the police arrested the student (the perpetrator of the crime), noting that the dispute between them developed, which forced the perpetrator to use a knife in the fight.
