Mosul Misdemeanor Investigation Court today, Monday, sentenced former Nineveh Governor Najm al-Jubouri to six months in prison with a suspended sentence for a legal violation in referring stadiums, in addition to a fine for his deputy who is still in service.

A security source in Nineveh Governorate said , ” The Mosul Misdemeanor Investigation Court issued a ruling to imprison the former governor of Nineveh, Najm al-Jubouri, for six months, suspended, and imposing a fine, for violating instructions on the method of transferring sports fields in Mosul .”

The source explained that “the court also issued a ruling imposing a fine on the current deputy governor of Nineveh, Sirwan Rozhbiani, for administrative violations during the era of Najm al-Jubouri, when he also held the same position in al-Jubouri’s government .”

The source added: “The forensic evidence took fingerprints of Al-Jubouri and Al-Rojbiani, which indicates the existence of a legal misdemeanor that affects their political and administrative career.”
