The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned, yesterday , Wednesday, the armed attack that targeted the headquarters of the Turkish Aerospace Industries Company in the Turkish capital, Ankara .

The ministry said in a statement: It “strongly condemns the armed attack on the headquarters of the Turkish Aerospace Industries in the Turkish capital Ankara, which resulted in a number of casualties and injuries .”

She added, “While we affirm our full solidarity with the government and people of the Republic of Turkey, we express our sincere condolences to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured .”

The ministry reiterated its “firm position in rejecting all forms of violence and terrorism that threaten the security and stability of countries,” stressing “the importance of intensifying international efforts to combat terrorism and maintain the security and stability of the region.”

Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya had previously announced that an attack had targeted the Tusas company, resulting in deaths and injuries .

Following the attack, explosions and gunshots were heard at the company’s facilities, and security forces, firefighters and medical teams were dispatched to the area .

Later, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced the final toll of the armed attack on the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) in the capital Ankara, confirming that the attackers were killed .

Yerli Kaya said in a post on the “X” platform that two militants were killed in the attack on the “Tusaş” company facilities in the Kahramankazan district of Ankara, which also led to the death of three people and the injury of 14 others, some of them seriously .
