Nineveh Governor Abdul Qadir Al-Dakhil announced yesterday , Monday, that the governorate is close to ending the file of stalled projects, while revealing that vital and important projects on the right side of Mosul will be referred soon .
The intruder said “The referral of the approaches to the sixth bridge on the right side is being prepared in Baghdad and all the requirements for it have been completed by the Nineveh administration,” indicating that the referral of these approaches will be during the next few days .
Al-Dakhil announced that the Local Administration Stadium project (formerly Mosul Stadium) on the right side will be referred soon, explaining that Nineveh has achieved great progress in the file of stalled projects, as the governorate is now close to ending this file after reducing the number of stalled projects in the governorate to a minimum .
Earlier, Nineveh Governor Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil revealed On reducing the number of stalled projects in Nineveh from 146 projects to only 17 projects .
For his part, the head of the Nineveh Provincial Council, Ahmed Al-Hasoud, denied that work on the Badush Dam project had been frozen, but he indicated that the Ministry of Water Resources would decide on the fate of work on the project in the future .
The harvester said He met with the Director General of Dams at the Ministry of Water Resources and the directors of the Mosul Dam and Badush Dam projects to discuss the latest developments in the work of the dams in Nineveh Governorate .
He added, “The Badush Dam project, northwest of Mosul, which has been halted, is currently witnessing a halt in groundwater extraction and the transfer of its personnel to Mosul Dam .”
He explained that the Ministry of Water Resources confirmed that this procedure does not mean cancelling the Badush Dam project and freezing work on it, but rather a technical procedure, indicating that the ministry also indicated that the project is awaiting an update of the strategic study and the committee assigned to it to decide whether to keep it and complete it or cancel it.
