The Directorate of Education in Nineveh Governorate confirmed, yesterday , Wednesday, the completion of 52 schools in the governorate within the first phase of school buildings for the Chinese loan project .
Director General of Education Khaled Abdul Aziz stated that “with great efforts by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the follow-up and supervision of the Minister of Education, the first phase of the Chinese loan project, which includes the construction of 52 schools, has been completed,” noting that “29 schools have been completed.” School in city center and 23 Another school in the districts and regions from the total school project amounting to building 92 schools .
He added, “The schools that have been completed are model schools and aim to provide a suitable environment for students,” stressing that “these schools will eliminate caravan schools and triple shifts .”
Abdul Aziz pointed out that “the ambition of the Education Directorate is to achieve a single shift in every school,” while praising at the same time “the role of the Nineveh Governor through his allocation of plots of land for the second phase of the project, which includes the construction of 150 schools.”
