Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar stated that Turkish companies produce up to 40 thousand barrels of oil per day in countries including Iraq .
Bayraktar said in a press statement, “Turkish companies produce about 40 thousand barrels of oil per day in Iraq, Russia and Azerbaijan, while about 110 thousand barrels are produced inside the country .”
“Türkiye produces more natural gas outside the country than it does on its own territory,” he added, noting that Turkey has partnerships in the Caspian Sea, Libya, Niger, Sudan, Somalia and other regions.
