A local source in Kirkuk reported yesterday that the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, issued a decision to dismiss the officer of the passport office at Kirkuk International Airport from his position, and a female officer with the rank of captain, because of publishing pictures and video clips in military uniform on social media .
The source said, “Al-Shammari decided to dismiss the passport officer at Kirkuk Airport, who holds the rank of brigadier general, from his position and transfer him to the Border Forces Command after a video clip of him circulated in which he appears with a female officer with the rank of captain and her sister, who filmed the video and posted it on the TikTok platform .”
He explained that “the girl was visiting her sister, the officer, and she filmed the visit and published it,” noting that “the minister decided to transfer the officer to the Nationality and National Card Department in Kirkuk.”
