Nineveh Governor Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil discussed with Bishop Mar Benedictus Younan Hanno the conditions of Christians, their needs, and efforts to return them to Nineveh.
During the meeting, Al-Dakhil stressed that the Nineveh administration has placed the return of the Christian component to Mosul at the top of its priorities.
For his part, Bishop Mar Benedictus Younan Hanno, during his reception of the Governor of Nineveh in Al-Hamdaniya District, stressed the importance of the government’s interest in the issue of Christians in the district, and praised the government’s role in providing services in order to contribute to enhancing stability in the Nineveh Plain areas.
