The Popular Mobilization Authority announced that the security and discipline squads of the authority were able to arrest a terrorist element belonging to ISIS who works in what is called the organization’s medical department, in Nineveh Governorate .
The authority stated in a statement that “the General Directorate of Security and Discipline in the Popular Mobilization Authority was able to arrest an element bearing the nickname (Abu Musab) who belongs to the ISIS organization and works in the organization’s military medicine in the so-called Nineveh Province .”
She added, “This came after a great security effort and diligent follow-up conducted by a specialized team from the Directorate of Investigations and Preventive Security in the General Directorate of Security and Discipline in the Popular Mobilization Authority, and after obtaining official approvals from the competent judge, his arrest was carried out in Nineveh Governorate.”
