A security source in Basra, in the far south of Iraq, reported yesterday , Tuesday, that the body of a murdered woman was found in the Abu Al-Khaseeb district, south of the governorate center .
The source said, “A security force found the body of a murdered woman in one of the areas of Abu Al-Khaseeb. She worked as an employee in the College of Physical Education at the University of Basra .”
The source said, “The person accused of committing the crime is one of her colleagues who works at the same college. He was arrested and the matter is currently under investigation.”
