The Popular Mobilization Forces announced About implementing a security operation in the Hatra desert, indicating that the operation aims to secure the entire region and continue enhancing security and stability .
The authority said in a statement, “A joint force from the Nineveh Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces and the army carried out a large security operation in the Hatra desert, southwest of Nineveh . ”
She added, “Forces from the 21st Brigade and 44th Brigade within the Nineveh Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces, units of the 43rd Brigade in the army, and a number of supporting directorates in the Popular Mobilization Forces participated in the operation .”
She pointed out that “the operation aims to secure the entire region and maintain the strengthening of security and stability witnessed in Nineveh Governorate.”
