The Chairman of the Security and Defense Committee in the Iraqi Parliament, Karim Aliwi Al-Muhammadawi, revealed About forming a joint committee to investigate the injury of an Iraqi woman in the Green Zone by US embassy fire .
Al-Mohammadawi said in a statement, “The American embassy clearly violated human rights after an Iraqi woman was shot while praying .”
Al-Muhammadawi stressed that “this matter is very dangerous and constitutes a violation of the citizen’s rights,” noting that “the Parliamentary Defense Committee will move to stop such violations by forming an investigative committee to investigate this violation of Iraq’s sovereignty and the safety of its citizens .”
