Eyewitnesses from the village of Kwani in Dohuk reported that Turkish air defenses shot down a PKK drone .
Witnesses said that “a drone belonging to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party was shot down by Turkish air defenses stationed on the peaks of Mount Matin overlooking Amadiyah, north of Dohuk, explaining that the plane fell in an area between the villages of Kwani and Meristik within the Amadiyah district, north of the province .
Witnesses pointed out that “the plane crash did not cause any civilian casualties as a result of the incident.”
