Activists from Mosul accused the current political forces of allowing forces from outside the province to turn Nineveh into an open arena for their political and electoral work .
Activist Munhal Al-Ghariri confirmed that Nineveh, since the 2018 elections and the Victory Alliance obtaining the votes of a number of representatives, has turned into an open arena and fertile ground for the work of political parties from outside the governorate .
He expected that the upcoming elections would witness greater dominance of political forces from outside the province in the parliamentary electoral scene next year due to the absence of blocs representing Nineveh and the will of its people.
In this regard, the representative of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Majid Shankali, confirmed that Nineveh is now completely under the authority of the Coordination Framework forces. Shankali said that the head of the Popular Mobilization Authority and the leader of the Ataa bloc, Faleh al-Fayyadh, is the actual ruler of Nineveh today, and anything else is just media and Facebook movements that have no value, according to his expression.
