The Compensation Committee in Nineveh Governorate announced the completion of about 100,000 compensation transactions for those affected by military and terrorist operations in the governorate .
Director of the Compensation Committee in Nineveh, Mohammed Mahmoud Al-Akla, said: “The committee has completed 77,000 compensation transactions for those affected in property, houses, lands and cars .”
Al-Akla added, “The Compensation Committee also completed 20,000 compensation transactions for the families of martyrs and those injured as a result of war operations, 15,000 of which reached the Retirement Directorate .”
He pointed out that “the work of receiving new compensation transactions is currently suspended due to maintenance work being carried out in the committee building,” indicating that “this will only be delayed for a few days or weeks, and then the receipt of new transactions will resume.”
