The local government in Nineveh Governorate announced that, after two years of delay, it had referred a new service project It is a project to rehabilitate and expand the water supply of the villages of Tal Zalat and two streams within the Bouer /Hmeidat water project .
The Nineveh local government revealed that the total cost of the project exceeds 11 billion and 790 million Iraqi dinars.
It is noteworthy that the areas surrounding the project have been suffering from a scarcity of drinking water for decades, as administrative and routine procedures delayed the project’s referral for more than two years.
