The Governor of Nineveh, Abdul Qadir al-Dakhil, issued a statement denouncing the insulting statements made against the Great Prophet Muhammad ( peace be upon him ) by someone called Qasim Shashu in Sinjar.
Al-Dakhil’s statement said, “ At a time when we strongly condemn and denounce the offensive statements issued by the so-called Qasim Shesho against our Prophet Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, and the true Islamic religion , we affirm that these offensive statements do not It represents our Yazidi brothers , but rather it represents the invitee himself, and we must point out that we should not allow any party to ride the wave and exploit the gap to tear apart the social fabric in Nineveh .”
The statement continued, ” We must all stand with our Yazidi brothers in their plight, as they are our brothers in the homeland, and we bandage their wounds, as many of them are still missing as a result of what happened.” They were subjected to genocide, and efforts must be mobilized to search for the kidnapped men and women, on the one hand, and not We allow lurkers to exploit these statements to increase the gap between Muslims and Yazidis on the other hand.
The so-called Qasim Shasho – the commander of the Sinjar force – insulted the Holy Prophet during a public gathering two days ago.
, the Nineveh Court of Appeal issued an arrest warrant against the commander of the Sinjar forces, Qasim Shashu , on charges of insulting the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and inciting war between religions .
According to the arrest warrant , the charge against Qasim Shashu is “insulting the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and inciting a war between religions .”
The court relied on the legal article applicable to the charge, which is Article No. (195) of the Iraqi Penal Code, as stated in the memorandum, which did not mention the plaintiff.
