Nineveh Governor Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil announced that the total compensation amounts that were disbursed and are being distributed during the current year to those affected by military and terrorist operations amounted to 208 billion dinars.
Al-Dakhil said, “The amounts for compensation for those affected by the military and terrorist operations in Nineveh, which were disbursed since the beginning of this year 2024 and are being distributed until now, amounted to 208 billion dinars.”
Al-Dakhil added, “The number of beneficiaries of compensation amounts this year reached 24,800 affected people from the governorate’s residents.”
The Nineveh Governor pledged to continue efforts and follow-up with government agencies in Baghdad in order to close the compensation file, which is considered one of the acquired rights of Nineveh Governorate, which was wronged in previous years in this file due to the delay in disbursing those funds.
