Nineveh Governor Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil confirmed that the initial population census data confirms that Nineveh has been subjected to injustice throughout the past years in the budgets due to the adoption of a population of less than 3 million .
He explained that the approximate number of residents in Nineveh is 5 million people, and Al-Dakhil pointed out that Nineveh’s injustice is also evident through its advancement among the Iraqi governorates in the number of buildings after the capital Baghdad, as it includes 900 thousand buildings after Baghdad, which includes 1 million and 100 thousand buildings, while Basra includes 600 thousand buildings.
