The Governor of Nineveh, Abdul Qadir Al-Dakhil, directed the Mosul Municipality Directorate to establish a public park and gardens near Al-Asadi intersection, parallel to the Al-Muthanna neighborhood park and gardens, in order to make it a new outlet for the people of Mosul.
Al-Dakhil also directed the Mosul Municipality to use asphalt mixtures with modern equations within international specifications to develop a solution to the problem of ripples and damage in the streets of Mosul that were previously covered .
