The representative of Nineveh Governorate, Sherwan Al-Dobardani, confirmed that not granting identification documents to the displaced Arabs in Al-Shekhan District is necessary to return them to their original areas .
Al-Dubardani said in a statement to the Mosul Talk program broadcast by Mosul Time Radio that the injustice began with a decision by the Baath Party when it transferred Arab families from other areas to the Sheikhan district and seized the lands of the district’s residents and granted them to those Arab families .
He explained that the solution to the problem of the displaced Arabs is through returning to their hometowns and original regions, transferring their populations there, and obtaining identification papers there.
