The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities announced Identifying 65 weighing stations in five main axes throughout Iraq in preparation for launching projects for their implementation, while confirming the application of the highest technical and standard specifications in its work .
The ministry’s official spokesman, Istabraq Sabah, said, “Meetings are continuing for the purpose of referring the weighing stations as investment projects, as 65 weighing stations have been identified throughout Iraq, excluding the governorates of the Kurdistan region, with 5 main axes, and projects will be launched to implement them mainly and vitally to preserve the roads and entrances to the cities between them.” Baghdad “.
On the other hand, he added, “The Department of Roads and Bridges in the Ministry of Construction and Housing follows the highest technical and standard specifications in all its projects, whether they are projects to relieve traffic congestion, entrance projects, or the fourth ring road, which will be launched during the next short period,” indicating, “There is a directive “Not only are these projects completed within the time frame, but emphasis is also placed on technical specifications and following the highest specifications in the implemented projects .”
He stressed, “The technical specifications provide durability and resistance to these projects in withstanding weights and climatic conditions, and this is what is emphasized.”
