A security source in Dhi Qar Governorate reported yesterday , Monday, the death of an inmate inside Nasiriyah Central Prison, southwest of Nasiriyah, the governorate’s center .
confirmed that “an inmate in his thirties from Nineveh Governorate died inside Nasiriyah Central Prison (Al-Hout) due to mysterious circumstances .”
The source said, “The prisoner was sentenced to death by hanging according to the provisions of Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law.”
