The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Administration, Ahmed al-Sharaa, nicknamed al-Julani, confirmed that he will soon disarm the armed factions and that no party will bear arms other than the Syrian army.
Al-Sharaa said that the initiative to restrict weapons to the state will be carried out by all armed factions and will start with Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, which was led by Al-Sharaa.
Al-Sharaa is the commander-in-chief of the military operations forces that toppled Bashar al-Assad’s regime a few days ago in battles that lasted 11 days.
