Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani stressed, yesterday , Monday, Iraq’s need to diversify its sources of arms .
This came during his reception of representatives of the Korean company (KAI) for aerospace industries, in his office in the capital, Baghdad .
The Prime Minister stressed the government’s keenness to cooperate with the company and benefit from its expertise and capabilities to develop and enhance air defense capabilities, which are among the objectives of the government program to achieve security reform and develop security agencies .
Al-Sudani pointed out Iraq’s need to diversify its sources of armament, which the government has worked on as part of a comprehensive plan to raise the efficiency and readiness of the security forces, and enhance the country’s ability to face various internal and external challenges.
