Federal Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani confirmed yesterday , Wednesday, that the biggest victory is represented by the broad participation in the elections, which is an important message that the political forces must not squander .
This came during Al-Sudani’s meeting with the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Pavel Talabani, in the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Regional Government, Qubad Talabani, during his visit to the city of Sulaymaniyah, which he arrived at this evening, as part of his visit to Kurdistan .
Al-Sudani said during the meeting, “The winning forces have another obligation, which is the understandings to form the government, which it is hoped will be completed quickly,” expressing Baghdad’s readiness to work on “bringing the viewpoints of the various political forces in the region closer together, because the citizen will evaluate his participation in light of what will be accomplished on the ground from the electoral programs . “
The Prime Minister pointed out that the region is going through a critical juncture due to the continued Zionist aggression on Gaza and Lebanon, which requires exerting efforts and unifying the national ranks to confront the danger threatening the countries of the region .
For his part, Pavel Talabani praised the position of the federal prime minister, which he described as neutral, and his support for the Kurdistan Regional Parliament elections, and confirmed his full support for the federal government in various entitlements .
Talabani expressed his keenness to expedite the formation of the regional government, with the aim of implementing the understandings with the federal government. He also stressed his support for the efforts aimed at adopting a common vision between the federal government and the regional government, with the aim of achieving balance and the best benefits in investing the oil wealth.
