A source in the Coordination Framework reported that a meeting will be held yesterday evening , Monday, at the level of the framework’s leadership, amid ambiguity surrounding the attendance of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani or not .
The source said “The Coordination Framework held a meeting last night attended by all its leaders to discuss a number of important files, including extending the legislative term of the House of Representatives and approving important laws, including (personal status) and (service and retirement for the Mujahideen of the Popular Mobilization Forces) .”
The source added, “The meeting will discuss the file of ministerial change in the government, and leave the decision to replace them to the authority of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani,” noting that “al-Sudani’s presence at the meeting is unknown, and the leadership of the Coordination Framework informed everyone of the necessity of attending today’s meeting, including al-Sudani.”
