The Iraqi Central Speedball Federation announced the nomination of 3 clubs to participate in the upcoming World Clubs Championship .
Union spokesman Ali Hamza Al-Rubaie said: “The Speedball Federation nominated the clubs (Air Defense, North Gas, Nineveh Girl) to participate in the upcoming World Clubs Championship, scheduled to be held in the city of Krakow in Poland in early February of next year,” adding that “the nominations came in accordance with the technical standards and controls set by the Iraqi Speedball Federation for clubs in order to include them in external participation .”
Al-Rubaie explained that “the nomination of the clubs (Air Defense, North Gas) came because they are institutional clubs capable of bearing the costs of participating in such tournaments, due to the union’s continued suffering from the lack of financial allocations.”
