Syrian sources reported that dozens of Iraqi armed factions were killed and injured in raids on sites in Deir Ezzor and Albukamal, Syria, near the Iraqi border.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the bombing was carried out by unidentified aircraft, killing 15 members of the armed factions and wounding 35 others.
An Iraqi security official reported earlier on Sunday morning that an airstrike targeted a presence of the Sayyid al-Shuhada Brigades on the border between Iraq and Syria.
