On Saturday, Iraqi security forces arrested the main suspect in the theft of a weapon rack belonging to the 5th Division of the Iraqi Army in Wasit Governorate .
An informed security source explained : “The security forces arrested the main suspect in this theft, a lieutenant colonel,” noting that the arrest took place in Wasit Governorate .
The Ministry of Defense did not clarify the type of weapons and ammunition that were stolen, or whether the ministry recovered them or not.
