A security source reported yesterday , Tuesday, that a judicial ruling was issued in absentia to imprison one of the social media celebrities, “Mustafa Al-Hajji”, on charges of “indecent content .”
The source said, “The Iraqi judiciary issued an in absentia ruling to imprison the person called (Mustafa Al-Hajji) for one year on charges of indecent content .”
He explained that the ruling came based on “the efforts of the Low Content Committee at the Ministry of Interior to pursue those who publish inappropriate content that harms the reputation of Iraqi society inside and outside the country .”
The last thing Mustafa Al-Hajji published was a video clip on the famous social networking site “Tik Tok”, in which he insulted a religious ritual .
It is noteworthy that Mustafa Al-Hajji emigrated from Iraq in 2014 when ISIS invaded a number of provinces, and he is currently residing in Europe.
