A security source reported yesterday , Saturday, that an armed quarrel broke out between Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq and Saraya al-Salam in the capital, Baghdad .
The source said, “A quarrel between three people, one of them from Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq and two from Saraya al-Salam, developed into the use of open fire in the Al-Amin area, east of the capital .”
The source explained that “the fight broke out due to a problem over a piece of land,” indicating that “a security force arrived at the scene of the incident and controlled the situation .”
The source pointed out that “one of those arrested works as a regiment commander in Saraya al-Salam .”
The source confirmed, “There was no shooting at Al-Amin Police Station, nor any clashes .”
He explained that “the security forces opened fire to disperse the fight and arrest the perpetrators .”
The source also denied “any presence of the Counter-Terrorism Service at the scene of the incident,” noting that “security forces from the Federal Police and the Tactical Regiment of the Rusafa Police Command imposed their control and arrested several people minutes after the incident.”
