The Challenge Association for Generators in Nineveh confirmed that the continued power outage, coupled with the lack of fuel for generators, will lead to an increase in the prices of commercial generator subscriptions to exorbitant prices per ampere .
Awad Hamid, a member of the Challenge Association, said that operating hours increased during the last week to about 15 hours per day, which means that subscription prices will be high, especially since Nineveh’s share of generator fuel is not enough to meet the need for a limited number of days. He called for increasing the share of gas oil fuel for generators and reducing operating hours to limit the increase in wages.
