A responsible security source reported yesterday , Sunday, that a person was arrested on charges of destabilizing security and stability in Iraq by publishing video clips on social media under the title “Change is Coming .”
The source said that recently, “videos were published on social media (Tok Tok) by a person who publishes videos under the name (Change is Coming – Iraqi National Rally for Liberation and Change) inciting to destabilize security throughout Iraq and harm state security .”
He explained that “videos were monitored from Salah al-Din Governorate – Tikrit District, and immediately the National Security detachments began for two consecutive days to collect information and activate the efforts of the sources to limit such cases that affect the security of Iraq .”
The source indicated that “the necessary judicial approvals were obtained from the judge of the Salah al-Din Investigation Court, and the National Security detachments arrested the accused (G. M. J. H.), who lives in Salah al-Din Governorate – Tikrit District, and who publishes these videos that threaten the security of the citizen and aim to destabilize and spread terror in the souls of the Iraqi people .”
After the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime in Syria at the hands of armed organizations, cases were observed that threatened security in Iraq, including writing ISIS slogans on the walls of houses in a neighborhood in Anbar Governorate, and raising the extremist organization’s flag twice in the districts of Hawija and Daquq in Kirkuk .
The security authorities arrested two people in Anbar, western Iraq, on charges of writing these slogans.
