The head of Nineveh Provincial Council, Ahmed Al-Hasoud, announced the council’s move to reduce the prices of commercial generator subscriptions in the city of Mosul, following complaints about the rise in subscription prices to about 10,000 dinars per ampere .
Al-Hassoud confirmed that the council held a meeting between the Energy Committee and the Generators Committee to discuss the problem of rising prices .
And between Next month will witness a decrease in the price of supplying an ampere from commercial generators after contacting the relevant authorities in order to reduce the fees imposed on generators on the one hand and increase their share of gas oil on the other hand.
