Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani announced the issuance of several decisions concerning the people of Sinjar, including the establishment of a university and the launch of compensation for the demolished homes of displaced persons .

The Prime Minister said during the memorial ceremony, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the crime of genocide against the Yazidis and the rest of the Iraqi components, committed by the terrorist ISIS gangs: “The invasion of the villages and towns of our Yazidi people in Sinjar and the village of Kojo revealed the conspiracy that targeted diversity and peaceful coexistence for all Iraqis, as The people were subjected to unprecedented brutality, leaving them scattered, between martyrs and wounded, and terrorism targeted women and children, followed by the crime of captivity, which represented a scene in which chivalry, humanity, and morals were absent, which was later revealed by the survivors’ testimonies .”

The Prime Minister stated, “The genocide that occurred on the Yazidis and other components at the hands of ISIS gangs makes us demand the need to stop the ongoing extermination of the people of Gaza at the hands of the Zionist occupation forces, which today practice crimes similar to the crimes committed by ISIS gangs, which confirms that the killers belong to One approach is the approach of hostility to humanity and lack of conscience and morals .”

He stressed, “Our government worked to do justice to all Iraqis, within the basic mission of the work of the national service government, and we confirmed in the government program a commitment to supporting the Iraqi components,” indicating that “we have taken many decisions and directives to provide a decent living and a decent life for our Yazidi people , starting with choosing… A special advisor on their affairs in the Prime Minister’s Office .”

The Prime Minister pointed out that, “We established the Sinjar and Nineveh Plain Reconstruction Fund, and we previously issued a decision to own (14,500) housing units for the people of Sinjar,” adding that “yesterday, we issued a directive to include all segments of the people of Sinjar and the Nineveh Plain with loans from the Real Estate Bank, the Housing Fund, and government initiatives.” central bank “.

Al-Sudani directed, “to expand the basic design of Sinjar District, in a way that does not cause any demographic change, and preserves the privacy of the areas of the indigenous Iraqi components deprived of this right throughout the years of the dictatorial regime,” stressing “support for establishing the Yazidi presence in their historical areas, through a package of service decisions.” For reconstruction and rehabilitation of areas, in order to receive the displaced .”

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister also directed, “to open branches of most of the state’s service, financial, and banking institutions in the Sinjar district, and to grant job degrees to the people of the district to appoint them in these institutions,” noting that he “issued directives to establish the University of Sinjar, to improve the status of the judiciary in all fields. ” .

The Prime Minister also directed “to release compensation for the demolished homes of the displaced, and to compensate the affected areas, in proportion to the extent of the destruction, years of deprivation, and population density .”

He pointed out that “the articles of the Yazidi Women Survivors Law have been activated , and we have formed committees specialized in all files related to the Yazidis , including the committee to search for the kidnapped people and work to recover them.”
