The campaign of condemnation and denunciation of the attack on journalist Jamal Al-Badrani, director of the Al-Sharqiya channel office in Mosul and one of the founders of Mosul Time Radio, continues.

Many human rights organizations have confirmed their absolute rejection of targeting Al-Badrani and considered it an attempt to suppress the voice of truth by corrupt people and advocates of the state.

For his part, MP Raad Al-Dahlaki described the assault incident, which was carried out by parties outside the law, as reminiscent of the actions of terrorist organizations, while calling on the security services to pursue the outlaws so that they receive their just punishment.

For his part, the Iraq Center for Human Rights condemned the attack on journalist Jamal Al-Badrani. The center’s spokesman, Ali Al-Abadi, said that the attack reflects the voice of corruption and the voice of the statelessness. He pointed out that Iraq faces a serious problem in the file of human rights and freedom of the press and expression, indicating that the repeated targeting of journalists has made Iraq rank low in terms of journalists’ rights due to the state’s inability to protect the group of journalists.
