The Counter-Terrorism Service announced, on Sunday evening, the detonation of a car bomb in Anbar Governorate, western Iraq .
The agency stated in a statement that “in a qualitative operation by the heroes of the Counter-Terrorism Service, based on accurate intelligence information about the presence of a booby-trapped vehicle in Rawah district in Anbar province, and after confirming the information through aerial reconnaissance, a raid, search and seizure mission was carried out, a Toyota pickup truck rigged with four jerrycans of locally-made explosive materials .”
He added that the wheel was blown up by the engineering squad of the Counter-Terrorism Service.
