Nineveh Governor Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil revealed that a decision was issued by the Supreme Security Committee in the province, which includes ending armed manifestations in the city of Mosul and all of Nineveh .

The intruder said “The Supreme Security Committee in Nineveh held a meeting yesterday and issued a decision to end armed manifestations in the province .”

Al-Dakhil explained that the decision includes preventing armed manifestations in the streets, roads, and convoys of government officials, indicating that the implementation of the decision will begin with the convoys of the governor and the head of the provincial council, as they will be limited to civilian vehicles without armed military vehicles .

Regarding the security situation in Nineveh and the repercussions of the war in Syria, Al-Dakhil confirmed that “Nineveh is 100% safe, and that the security forces from the army, police, Popular Mobilization Forces, and intelligence agencies are working in a coordinated manner and controlling security in Nineveh .”

The Nineveh Governor pointed out that “the governorate is safe and there are no fears of possible breaches occurring there.”
