The Ministry of Defense announced, on Monday, the movement of army units to support the open borders from Al-Qaim in the south to Jordan .
The ministry said in a statement: “Armored units of the Iraqi army moved to support the open borders from Al-Qaim in the south to the Jordanian border .”
She added, “This came after the northern sector west of Nineveh was reinforced with armored and mechanized units.”
