Dozens of Nineveh Governorate residents organized a protest in front of the Nineveh Governorate building and the Provincial Council yesterday, Wednesday.

The protesters called on the government authorities to find a solution to their problems and remove injustice against them, and indicated that their demands are declining by addressing the problems of the Qazah, Fahara and Jalyukhan areas , delivering services to their areas, and opening the earthen berm that surrounds about 18,000 residential plots of land belonging to the Left Land Registration Department in the city of Mosul.

The protesters stated that the terrorist organization ISIS had created an earthen berm preventing access to their lands, and that there are certain parties that are currently preventing them from building on their lands for unknown reasons, according to what they said.
