The Ministry of Transport announced yesterday , Wednesday, that an earthquake was recorded west of Mosul .
A statement by the ministry said, “The seismic observatories of the General Authority for Meteorology and Seismic Monitoring recorded an earthquake today in Nineveh Governorate .”
He added, “The earthquake was recorded at 11:44:45 local time, with a magnitude of (3.4) degrees, and was 80 km away.” How far west of Nineveh Governorate ,” the statement continued, “citizens felt it to varying degrees.”
