The committee formed in the Ministry of Education on the subject of interventions in the transfer of educational staff in Nineveh held a meeting at the headquarters of the governorate’s Education Directorate to find solutions to the problems facing the educational sector in Nineveh.

MP Abdul Rahim Al-Shammari said that the ministerial committee discussed the issue of the large shortage of school staff in the schools of Ayman Mosul and West Nineveh, compared to the large increase in the number of staff in other areas.

Al-Shammari pointed out that the committee decided to form two committees, the first to supervise the treatment of the shortage of staff and the second a subsidiary to implement the decisions and put solutions into effect within a week. He pointed out that the meeting decisions also included transferring teachers and instructors of the 2023 appointments to the districts and sub-districts that suffer from a shortage and stopping the granting of five-year and two-year leaves in the event that they cause vacancies, and converting administrators to teachers after undergoing educational courses and obtaining approvals from the Ministry of Finance.
