Nineveh Governor Abdul Qadir al-Dakhil indicated that an amount of (3) billion dinars had been allocated to the Mosul Sports Football Club in order to cover its participation in the Iraqi Premier League and to attract professional players to be a rival to other teams .
He stressed that his local government supports the sports sector and youth by completing the Falls Olympic Stadium and the local administration .
This came during a visit made by Al-Dakhil to the headquarters of the Mosul Sports Club, accompanied by Captain Haris Muhammad and the Director of Youth and Sports, Marouf Muhammad Salem, and his meeting with the club’s administrative staff and technical staff to discuss the club’s upcoming entitlements represented by its participation in the Iraqi Premier League.
