The Governor of Nineveh confirmed working with the Provincial Council to ensure that the rent of the shops in the Wednesday Market on the right side will be subsidized for a period of 3 years .
Governor Abdul Qadir Al-Dakhil pointed out that the right side represents the soul, history, heritage and civilization of Mosul , saying, “ We are focusing greatly on restoring life to it through vital strategic and development projects that support its return and revitalize the economic movement .”
pointed out that the Wednesday Market project was constructed in a modern style that takes into account the heritage and civilization of the city of Mosul and consists of 221 commercial stores , with the completion rate exceeding 80 % , stressing the imminent referral of the project to rehabilitate the Goldsmiths Market and Al-Najafi Street in the near future.
