Hezbollah announced that it killed and wounded a number of Israeli soldiers by targeting a tank and their gatherings with large missile barrages in several border areas and settlements.
The party’s statement also confirmed the killing and wounding of Israeli soldiers when it targeted a force of enemy vehicles and soldiers in the Maroun al-Ras border plain with artillery shells.
Since Tuesday, the Israeli army has been trying to penetrate southern Lebanon by land, where it is facing fierce resistance from Hezbollah, which has killed 8 Israeli soldiers, including officers, and wounded at least 30 others on the first day, according to the army and Hebrew media.
