Yesterday , Monday, the Ministry of Immigration and Displacement announced the return of (518) displaced people who lived in the Khazir camp in Erbil Governorate to their original areas of residence in Nineveh Governorate .

The ministry said in a statement that “518 displaced persons who lived in the Khazir camp in Erbil Governorate returned to their original residential areas in Nineveh Governorate, in coordination with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Nineveh Operations Command .”

The statement added, “The programs for the return of displaced people come within the ministry’s plan to end the displacement file in the country .”

, the Minister of Migration and Displacement, E.V.N. Faiq Jabru, directed the ministry ’s cadres to “include newly returned families with financial grants , relief aid, and durable goods to support stability in the areas of return.”
