, Friday, the Iraqi Clubs and Institutions Championship (second round) speedball competitions began in Nineveh Governorate with the participation of 22 clubs .
The Central Iraqi Speedball Federation said in a statement, “Its technical and training crews have completed all their logistical preparations, as the Iraqi speedball championship for clubs and institutions began at the Andalusia Youth Sports Forum hall in the city of Mosul .”
He added, “The technical conference for the tournament was held the day before yesterday, Thursday, in the large meeting hall of the Al-Hadba Forum, with the participation of 22 clubs, during which the head of the Speedball Federation, Firas Al-Khafaji, welcomed the teams participating in the tournament, wishing them success and achieving records at the Iraqi level and the international classification as well .”
It is noteworthy that the championship competitions will be the main criterion for selecting the national speedball team players to participate in the World Championship, which will be hosted by the Arab Republic of Egypt next October.
