Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani chaired a meeting to follow up on airport development projects in three governorates .
The Prime Minister’s Media Office said in a statement , “Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani chaired a meeting to follow up on airport development projects in Dhi Qar, Mosul, and Holy Karbala .”
Al-Sudani stressed the need to remove all obstacles to the development of these airports, given their importance in enhancing the economy and growth in the governorates of Nineveh, Karbala, and Dhi Qar.
It is worth noting that Mosul International Airport was completely destroyed during the control of the terrorist organization ISIS over Mosul between 2014 and 2017.
Mosul International Airport is undergoing reconstruction, but Mosul residents see a great delay in working in a governorate that is considered the second largest Iraqi governorate in terms of population.
